What is Hair? It is just a form of protein filament that grow on epidermis and in this context; scalp. However, this "just a form of protein filament" can decide whether we look great or "eewwwh'.......
Is it true that Hair affect our total look? The answer would be YES OF COURSE.
Our hair does play the vital role in enhancing the uniqueness that lies in everyone of us; and in other words, no human on this earth is UGLY. But, are we lazy to change our hairstyles? Or the answer to this question may not be that accurate as we are trying to believe; unless we are given accurate information and confident by our hairstylists to carry new hairstyles. OR WE ARE TOO COMFORTABLE WITH OUR OLD LOOKS THAT WE ARE AFRAID TO CHANGE? I would believe yes is the answer to this question.
A personal opinion from Essensuals' Director Jacqueline...Being a Hairstylist for more than a decade now and I often felt some clients are too scare to try new looks. From the information given, it is usually a disaster case after having agreed to have new hairstyles. Bad experiences caused FEAR and clients tend to be extra cautious about having new styles. Perhaps consultation are not properly carried out before a haircut. Or, clients wanted a fairy tale haircuts that are not practical or hairstylist failed to give explanation before and after the haircut.
CONSULTATION is a must before a haircut is performed. So if you got to a new salon for a haircut, ensure yourself getting consultation before a hair cut. If the hairstylist wanted to start cutting your hair without at least a 5 min consultation, you have the right to just leave the salon as no proper consultation will cause miscommunication and BAD HAIR DAY. End of the day 'FEAR' is the main reason to change.
Let's share some real life "BEFORE AND AFTER" Hair Cut Session with Essensuals Kuching Team recently. Meeting our expectation, the live models, Tiffany, Mandy and Ghazali were indeed very happy with their new looks; moderate to drastic changes.

Never forget initial consultation before a haircut is very important to create mutual understanding between the clients and the hairstylist.
